In Montaione, in the heart of the Tuscan hills, a restaurant that recall the old taverns of the past. There, where excellent wines and refined dishes flow, in an ancient context of vaulted arches and terracotta bricks.

Welcome
The restaurant can accommodate up to fifty guests in as many seats, the atmosphere that is breathed inside is typical of the old taverns of the past, with the refinement of the small culinary magic of Chef Gianni Neri and Gianni Bartalini.
Creators of unique and tasty recipes, the two chefs are able to marry the most refined Tuscan country tradition, and in particular truffles and cinta senese, with the best varieties of fish and wines.
The menu of the Osteria del Pesce Rosso is changed every week, with an extra daily menu, as usual with the best culinary traditions, in order to offer its guests an impeccable quality and a new choice.

“Amazing evening”
“Very warm welcome by the owner. Though the place was very crowded, with loxals and tourists, we were quickly served. The choixes on the menu are varied and the pasta of the day were amazing! We had antipasti toscana, tartar, tagliatta de manzo, different pastas, deserts, coffee. All amazingly good for a nice evening in Montaione.

“Great variety and several traditional dishes (eg caprese or melon/ham) interpreted in an innovative way – unique and very tasty!
Hard to recommend anything special as everything we had on two occasions was special. Make sure to ask waiters for specials.
